Robert Stevens

Robert graduated in Business Studies from Kingston upon Hull Business School and was recruited by KPMG, so began his first career in Systems and Management Accounting.

Early 1998 searching for a new challenge Robert joined DIVA, a .COM start up that had won a contract to replace a MINITEL based solution for a French cosmetics and fragrance house. DIVA was successfully bought out by GlobeNet, an American .COM specialising in Internet affiliate marketing and SOP solutions. Robert emigrated to Phoenix, Arizona to head up their business development.

Robert's experience at DIVA and GlobeNet gave him international experience in entrepreneurial .COM's that he combined with his solid foundation career. In 1999 he moved back to the UK to set up Bunnyfoot with his lifelong friend Dr Jon Dodd.

Since Co-Founding Bunnyfoot Robert has:
Helped grown Bunnyfoot to be a World leading behavioral research consultancy Developed and validated the Post Experience Eyetracked Protocol (PEEP) methodology in conjunction with the University of Lancaster Led the development of SuperVisual - Bunnyfoot's own eyetracking application developed to meet the specific needs of customers who require benefit led quantitative and qualitative research.

When not busy working at Bunnyfoot you'll find Rob spending quality time with his family, or driving fast cars very fast, but only on race tracks.

Jon Dodd

Managing Director and co-founder

Positioned in the Oxfordshire office

Jon holds a DPhil. in Visual and Computational Neuroscience from Oxford University, and has over 13 years experience of developing and coding online information resources that are usable and accessible to multiple user groups and browser-device combinations.

He combines business acumen with programming expertise, and behavioural expertise, ensuring 'fluency' in and between all the necessary components required to develop top-flight online resources. Jon has overall responsibility for the accessibility, usability and eyetracking services for the company. He works directly with clients (when he can) and frequently appears as an invited speaker at national and international industry conferences.

Jon is a former invited expert for the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and former editor-in-chief of the Usability Professionals Association online newsletter.

When not at Bunnyfoot you'll find Jon teaching scuba diving, entertaining the crowds with the local amateur dramatics society, wakeboarding or learning how to fly microlights (hang-gliders with hairdryers on the back).

Sarah Ronald

Managing Director: Edinburgh office

Positioned in the Edinburgh office

Sarah Ronald graduated from Aberdeen University in 2000 with a MA in Psychology and continued her education at Heriot Watt University where she graduated with a MSC in Human Computer Interaction in 2001.

Sarah's first job was as a market researcher but in 2004; realising the uptake of usability services by the financial market she set up as an independent consultant working with Standard Life, the Department of Work and Pensions and Prudential.

After exploring eyetracking on a number of online projects Sarah joined the Bunnyfoot Group to set up and direct the Scottish office.

As a highly experienced usability and eyetracking consultant, Sarah is extremely passionate about her field of expertise. She is an active member of The Usability Professionals Association and has sat on a number of judging panels including the Scottish Enterprise Entrepreneur scheme for schools and the Scottish Marketing Association's Student Marketeer of the Year.

Hilary Palmén

User Experience Architect

Hilary has been making things more fabulous and easier to use for over 25 years.

Life before Bunnyfoot included 8 years living in Seattle working as a Lead User Researcher for Microsoft product development team on products including Hotmail, MSN Messenger, Outlook Express, Windows Vista, and Office Live Meeting. Prior to her stint in the USA Hilary worked within the Ministry of Defence and spent 5 years as a Senior Psychology Lecturer including teaching PhD level Research Methods.

Bunnyfoot's commitment to improvement by enhancing user experiences, worthy causes and continued staff development lured Hilary to join Bunnyfoot. She brings her passion for enabling non-profit organizations to deliver excellent support services to the people who need them in the best possible way. Hilary leads the technical content for many of our long term relationships with Government clients. She develops innovative research and design development tools that enhance our already excellent practice. Hilary manages Bunnyfoot's staff development programme.

Hilary is a Chartered Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and holds several USA Patents for the design of communications systems. Hilary has published Journal articles on the design of communication systems to support cooperation between remotely sited co-workers.

In her spare time Hilary writes fiction, paints portraits, investigates local history in different towns, and countries through local architecture and visiting social institutions such as law courts, town halls, and local council buildings.

Caroline Middleton

Account Manager

Caroline graduated with a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, but after a short summer vacation placement she decided she didn't actually want to be a Chemical Engineer! She then completed a Diploma in Applied Management from Warwick Business School and used the skills and knowledge from this to undertake various Project and Account Management roles throughout her career. Caroline is Prince2 qualified.

Caroline is responsible for providing project management and client liaison services for all Bunnyfoot clients, along with resource scheduling and preparing project proposals. She also oversees all marketing activities for Bunnyfoot.

When not at Bunnyfoot you'll find Caroline either on a softball pitch or at the gym.

Rebecca Gill

Head of Customer Insight

After graduating with a DPhil. in Behavioural Ecology from Oxford University, Rebecca's interest in animal behaviour developed to include humans. Rebecca gained a Professional Diploma in Marketing (CIM) and 6 years experience working in the market research industry, prior to seeking a new challenge here at Bunnyfoot.

Rebecca's work puts the user in user-centred design. She has extensive experience of conducting user research, applying a vast array of methods, and effectively communicating users' requirements to all stakeholders involved, whether that be through workshops or the generation of personas and mental models.

Rebecca is a member of the Usability Professional Association (UPA), and has worked with numerous private and public sector clients, including HFEA, Audit Commission, Castrol, GCAP Media, Child Support Agency and Virgin Holidays.

Beyond Bunnyfoot, Rebecca loves to travel, especially when this is combined with scuba diving and photographing wildlife. At home you will usually find her busy in the garden or tackling the next DIY project.

Aaron Young

Head of Usability: Oxfordshire Office

Aaron has a BSc in Psychology and after several years working in mental health service provision gained an MSc in Human Centred Computer Systems.

His interests lie in the cognitive aspects of technology use such as attention, motivation and strategy formation. He is conversant in many aspects of development including iterative user centred design and prototyping, requirements gathering and user testing. Other interests include the adoption and use of live groupware systems.

In his spare time Aaron likes to take things apart and put them together again (with the left over bits he intends to build a robot army to crush his enemies). Other than that he enjoys galloping on horses, climbing, camping and the sampling of fine wines.

Sharan Rehal Gandhi

Senior Usability Consultant

Sharan holds an MSc in Information Technology for Management, a BSc in Computer Science, and the IDM Certificate in Digital Marketing (Cert DigM).

Sharan is a knowledgeable consultant, with extensive experience in many facets of user-centred design and behavioural research, and is extremely passionate about her field of expertise. She has undertaken studies nationally, internationally and remotely with a variety of audience in a variety of settings.

She can effectively communicate users' needs and requirements through presentations and workshops, to audiences varying from developers to senior stakeholders. Sharan has also written workshop material designed to teach the basics of usability.

The digital marketing qualification has given her insight into various techniques such as Search Engine Optimization, email marketing and online PR. Sharan has gained an applied understanding of how digital marketing can be used to meet communications and commercial objectives.

She is a member of the Usability Professionals Association (UPA), and has worked for numerous UK and international clients, including COI, WGSN, Energy Saving Trust, ITV, The Pensions Regulator, BBC, Yell, Natural History Museum and QVC.

Sharan loves to travel, when not at work she's planning her next trip!

John Woods

Web Analytics & Search Marketing Specialist

John Woods has a doctorate in Astrophysics from Oxford University and an MBA from the Open University. He has spent twenty years working with software and mathematical techniques for analysis and visualisation of complex data.

John was the founder of Site Intelligence Ltd, a market-leading web analytics company that numbers many of the UK's major retailers and financial services companies amongst its clients. In addition to his web analytics expertise he has a wide knowledge of other technologies for online marketing including search marketing and behavioural targeting.

Outside Bunnyfoot you might find him climbing a hill in Scotland or the Lake District, or hitting the treadmill.
